OverviewLocated in northern Arizona, just south of the beautiful piney oasis that is Flagstaff, Sedona is Red Rock country. A little community of great views, terrific hiking, interesting scrambling & climbing (on notoriously loose rock), great food, and even culture - it's a favorite weekend get-away of many.
If the many climbing opportunites right in Sedona don't satisfy, a bunch of short trad/sport routes are also waiting in nearby Paradise Forks.
With easy access and short approaches, the crags are mere minutes away from the myriad hotels and campgrounds of your choosing, you'll dig the sublime National Park-feel of this hip spot.
Looking for a little New Age action? You've come to the right place! Sedona is the hub of the vortex scene, too.Routes OverviewWilson Mountain (7,122 ft)

MapsOn 10-12-07, Mark Doiron was kind enough to offer this:
"While my son and I were visiting Sedona this past summer, we asked a local outfitter about the best map (there were several to chose from). He said the Beartooth Publishing Sedona Outdoor Recreation Map was the best. Looking around the net, there are actually over a half dozen to chose from."
