Approach
You must get to this village from CA1 turning on Km34 following this road until your reach San Francisco de Sales, before Caldera Lake.
Route Description
This is the most common route to reach the summit point of this volcano, you most hike to the top following its path untill you reach a plain area in the north part of the "Cerro Chino" where you must turn left (southeast) to the base of the volcano's cone where you must turn to the west until the summit
Essential Gear
You must take hiking boots with support on the ankle, otherwise you can get an injury on the descent of the cone, because of the sharp edges of the rocks of the volcanic cone. There is no ropes needed. A not necessary but really important gear you can take is a face mask, because of the gases that this volcano constantly erupts.
