Approach
Take highway GC1 soutwards but get off immediately at the exit Carrizal. Take GC196 towards Ingenio, there turn left on GC100 until you reach Agüimes. Leave on GC551, which turns into GC65, direction San Bartolomé de Tirajana. Here turn onto GC60 and som 4km after you leave the town you will reach the pass at Cruz Grande.

From Cruz Grande take the northern scramble upwards to Las Candelillas, a high plateau with great views of Caldera de Tirajana and the central mountains, Pozo de Las Nieves, Pico de Las Nieves and Roque Nublo. Cross this plain to Degollada de los Gatos. Here turn right to Pozo de las Nieves and enjoy the views. Finally cross the high plain to Pico de Las Nieves.
