In the Army they gave each of us one half of a pup tent - two guys would button there halve together and make up a pup tent but I have seen several guys get together with there halves and button together some interesting shelters - nothing the Army ever had in mind.
References :
its not going to happen unless there the same brand and have an accessory from the company that does this... your best be is to get a tarp, put the tents door to door and put the tarp over the two tents joining them... this work, i've done it once.
References :
It depends if you are looking to do this with two existing tents that you have or if you are looking for some tents that have this feature.

If you want to do this with two existing tents that you own, then you will need to try to use one of the creative solutions listed below.

If, however, you are looking for a tent that has the ability to 'link' to another you should look at the Nemo Equipment Asashi Tent and corresponding 'Link'.
References :
http://www.nemoequipment.com

Pitch them next to each other and use a tarp to go over the space in between them. This should give you a large room and two bedrooms.
